Reduced hair cover in targeted areas.** Individual results may vary.
Depending on the size of the area to be treated, each session can take from 5 – 120 minutes.
Depending on the patient, between 8 and 12 sessions.
Immediately after treatment, there could be mild redness and swelling at the treatment site. Swelling may last up to 2 hours, while the redness may last up to 2 – 3 days. The treated area will feel as though it has been sun-burnt. Ice packs or a cold press may be applied in 15 – 20 minutes intervals to reduce any discomfort or swelling. If redness or swelling persists, ice packs can be continued in 15 minutes intervals, 3 – 4 times per day, for 3 days. It is quite normal for small red marks or bumps to be present directly around the treated hairs.Treated hairs may fall out over a 7 – 21-day period. As the hair follicle dissipates during this period, it is recommended you use a suitable exfoliating scrub to remove dead hairs (although do not use within 7 days of treatment). The hair may also appear stunted and will not grow in length as before. Some “peppering” may be evident for up to 21 days after treatment as the body sheds the dead hair.
