TREAT UNSIGHTLY LEG & SPIDER VEINS
V-Beam Laser Treatments
Please note that a referral from a Doctor is required before any leg vein treatment.
The Candela V-beam features advanced micro-pulse technology with multiple handpieces for treating various spot sizes, and ours has a unique cooling system, which all but eliminates patient downtime by preventing purpura, or bruising.*
Using this technology, those unsightly red veins are now easily treatable. The micro-pulse technology heats the blood vessels very gently to avoid any bruising of the treated area.
The laser pulses light that is only absorbed by areas discoloured by redness. The selected blood then heats, reducing the size of the blood vessel.
Patients treated with V-beam reported experiencing minimal discomfort during treatment, and were highly satisfied with results.*
After 3 treatments, patients reported a 90% reduction in small red veins (telangiectases) and dark brown spots (lentigines) **
* Individual results may vary. A referral from a Dermatologist is essential.

What type of result can I expect to see?
An improvement in your diagnosis.
How long does the treatment take?
Depending on the size of the area to be treated, each session can take from 20 – 30 minutes.
How many treatments will I need?
As prescribed by your Doctor.
What can I expect following the treatment?
- The treated areas may seem to be darker after the bruising/red discolouration heals. Normal skin colour returns within 6 months after laser therapy.
- Scarring is a risk with the use of any laser. Failure to follow the post-treatment skin care instructions can increase the chance of scarring.
Will there be any downtime?
There is no downtime and patients can continue with their normal skin care regime.
