Laser Treatments & Homecare
We offer pigmentation treatment options in combination with daily skincare regimes to help reduce the appearance of skin pigmentation.
Our qualified skin therapists use skin laser techniques to assist in addressing dermal and epidermal pigmented lesions such as sunspots and birthmarks, as well as vascular lesions.
Often one laser treatment can be enough to see results but a second and third treatments may be necessary for optimal results.*
Invasive vs Non-Invasive Treatments
Should a less invasive treatment be chosen, more sessions might be necessary (but downtime will be reduced). The more invasive lasers will require fewer treatments but involve more downtime. Maintenance treatments may be required at regular intervals.
Alternative Treatments
Alternatives to laser treatment are Microneedling, Meso PDT, Chemical and Mechanical Peels.

- Depending on the type of treatment and the patient’s individual response, patients can experience bruising which usually disappears in 1 – 2 weeks. Any redness usually resolves itself after 3 – 10 days. Swelling will usually subside within a week. Flaking can be expected for up to two weeks after treatment. With pigmentation treatment the treated areas may initially seem to be darker after treatment. Normal skin colour should return within six months.
- Scarring is a risk with the use of any laser. Failure to follow the post-treatment skin care instructions can increase the chances of scarring.
- With vein treatments the treated area may show a slight depression after the laser treatment. This depression usually resolves itself within a few months.
Depending on patient’s individual response and treatment chosen recovery can be from zero to two weeks.
